TWI-India is successfully delivering the South East Asia Skills Enhancement Programme (SEASEP) at various engineering colleges in the country. The programme is funded by leading UK-based charity organisation, Lloyd’s Register Foundation (LRF).

The digital transformation of today’s industries have created a huge demand for skilled engineers and SEASEP is a great opportunity to deliver training with an international impact, as well as reducing occupational fatalities by bringing engineering-related skills and education to disadvantaged and under-represented groups in India.

TWI-India is addressing many colleges to provide more work experience opportunities for young people, thus delivering the globally recognised CSWIP Visual Welding Inspector course. One of the colleges addressed was the CSI College of Engineering, near Ooty, Ketti, Tamil Nadu. The students and professors of the mechanical department were happy to attend the training and complete the examination.

It is important to keep the next generation engaged, focused and inspired about engineering and industry. Our experts deliver this welding inspection course with hands-on, real time field experience, which not only enlightens the students with subject knowledge but also shows them the potential career growth and available opportunities worldwide.  We are glad to build a pool of strong engineering talent for the future.
